it's to scare people that know that trump caused covid to spread way more than necessary. continually, consistently, for months, trump actively interfered with, stopped, and contradicted proper public health measures. while he messaged for months about mail-in fraud, and contested the election.

Not quite: His sin was opposing the dictates of a Trumpian neoliberalism that puts profit and 'freedom' well above human lives. Musk is still butt-hurting at having his Fremont Tesla plant forced to take the pandemic seriously. Fauci's treatment is a warning to future PH experts - and MAGA-theatre.

But of course it was ultimately Newsom, not Fauci, who was telling Musk he couldn't put profit ahead of lives and overrunning our heroic healthcare professionals. States like FL clearly signalled they didn't give a damn about lives or abusing healthcare professionals.

I wish the group had chosen a different picture for this notice. For me, the picture evokes the hunched over, glowering look of Trump that he plasters on everything. Fauci has done everything in the light, above board. He shouldn’t be depucted coming out of the shadows.
