Whenever I tell people I'm a software developer nowadays they immediately ask me what I think about AI, and (more recently) datacentres. No escape from online discourse, even at sewing night.

during the new undergrad activities at my uni, most comp sci students asked this or had a take on this. good to know that they feel like engaging with meta discussions about software, I was starting to lose hope
