My "radical" act: ride bike in parts of town people breathlessly warn you about and simply greet every person you encounter. Some will just glare at you, but most will light up. Wave at families on porches. Get beat by kids in a bike race. Signal touchdown for a game of street football. Smile.

That was my Sunday afternoon, and it was so uplifting — aside from rolling by this demolition on the way back home.
