A great and terrible thing about being an indie author is that you can get up to the minute reports on sales. It's basically a skinner box for writers and we try to divine meaning from the largely random patterns.

Which is to say, who the hell just bought eighty copies of SfW books and why? 🫨 All I can see is that it was one order in the US and expanded distribution.

Is it a chain of bookstores deciding to carry it? A bunch of libraries? A school getting classroom copies? A system error? I have no way of knowing. I bough myself a cookie to celebrate, though.
