#StetChat A1 Going to agree with Jesse here! I was taught this as a kid, but eventually learned that starting a sentence with a conjunction is fine and can be important for tone and mood sometimes.

I don't like beginning sentences with And, But, So, and Then. Often makes for a clunky sentence and doesn't actually create a smooth flow, imo. I allow it in dialog--as long as it's not every character--but not in narrative. Especially if I'm trying to get wordcount down on something. #StetChat
