Serious question for you Steve. Isn’t it political idiocy not to at this point? Ignoring that it is clearly the moral thing to do, the polling also seems clear. It is a pressure point that rallies the Dem base and pulls on divisions in the MAGA coalition. Schumer is bad, but blowing this?

Case in point. bsky.app/profile/matt... They are incapable of even pretend normal. “We can’t be part of sending officers who just shot and killed a restrained man immediately back onto the street” is a massive political gift that will keep giving - and the right f’ing thing to do.
