1) Keeper - @doublefine.com I'll have my first review of 2026 next week on this game, but I just finished it and wow this one took me by surprise on how much I really liked it. I mean it's Double Fine so I shouldn't be surprised, but this one got me good.
2) TR-49 - @inkle.co I'm also going to have a video about this, maybe 2, because I really did love the puzzle nature of this game. Searching for codes to documents, (secret and otherwise) and linking them together to find clues to what the story is, is sooo satisfying! Tough but fair puzzle game!
3) Cairn - @thegamebakers.com It took me 16 hours, 488 falls, 3 deaths, and 473 fall rewinds, but I did it! I reached the summit! It was stubbornness and assist modes that made it possible. They didn't make it easy, but they kept me going, and that's all that matters.
4) Resident Evil 2 - @residentevil.capcomusa.com This wasn't as accessible as I like, but it was 2019 and accessibility wasn't widely spread by then. But there was enough for me to beat it in just past 11 hours. The Mr. X mechanic was the best horror mechanic I've ever experienced.
5) Mixtape - @mixtapegame.bsky.social This game was all of my worlds combined. My radio career, my making mixtapes as a teen in the 90s, my friends hanging out after school. This might be my GOTY and has become one of my fave games of all time. It was like a religious experience playing this.

6) Marvel's Wolverine - @insomniac.games I beat this game on the hardest difficulty, which is something I have never done before. I legit had a great time playing this. I loved the challenge of it, and because of the accessibility, it's one of my favourite games of the year.
