Post

Tapas was the site my webcomic Kilroy premiered on, sucks to see it shutting down before the comic's end. xHx I'm glad I at least have a mirror running on Comic Fury... But I'll have to find or make a new site to mirror it on just in case anything happens to that one...

I've been posting to Tapas since 2015. I'm gonna be extremely sad to see them go.

Thank you for doing this! Please add me!

Sure! I’m sad to see the news. I do try to share my web novel updates on here as well.

Sure I share my updates here for my web novels as well.

been posting primarily on tapas (even got featured one time wowie!!) so the news about tapas closing down definitely upset me ToT but if i could be added to the list thatd be amazing!

Thanks for adding me! 🥰

I'm part of Blonge! comics with @granitoons.bsky.social on Tapas. Luckily we didn't have much to back up but redundancy looms... tapas.io/HRAMComics

I have my webcomic on there, and I'm slowly working on more. I'm shocked they're shutting down, nothing was said about it on their socials or anything. Super shady! tapas.io/series/Adela...

I haven't been active in a while, but Tapas was a very important website to me in my younger years as a web novel writer. tapas.io/thedude3445

I've been posting my LnR comics there since 2013 😭 this is such devastating news

*waves* Not the news I wanted to see today (cause now I have to look into moving both of mine), but at least folks have options even if it is a pain in the rear to have to migrate everything to a new hosting situation

I have my work mirrored elsewhere, but I felt I was building a particularly nice rapport there with my comic, so if that fits the criteria I would be flattered to be included 🙏 This is a great idea either way, especially when a lot of Tapas users don't really know where to start looking.

Thanks for making and sharing this list with everyone!

Hellooo, raising my hand to also join.

Thank you for making this list, and also sad to see the news. I've been posting to Tapas since late 2023, and it's where I found most of my readers. Bluesky Profile: bsky.app/profile/miya... Main works: tapas.io/series/Grand... tapas.io/series/The-S...

Thanks for collecting the folks. Wouldn't mind getting added too. I have all of my main webcomics on there. Aside from my website, Tapas had been my main platform since 2018 😢 I was juuuust about to return after a small hiatus..

I had posted a miniseries and comic shorts on Tapas. Now that they're shutting down, I'm going to be removing them from the site. I'll more likely have them on my carrd or use ComicFury or NamiComi for mini comics.

Alright if I join this list? In the process of backing up some projects, now to comicfury and the personal website: comicfury.com/profile.php?...

I made a novel on tapas and I planned to post my comic there too so I'd appreciate it if I could be added 💜

@queenie-draws.bsky.social - since you’re affected!

They just show up on my feed idk lmao. But you're welcome ❤❤❤

Heya! It's one of the major sites I post on and I would love to be included if youre willing! Sad to hear on my end because Anno arcana got it's start there :(

Hello, I have my series Quix de Tellou: Necromancer on there. I'm pretty mad that the artists first learned about this from an external news site and nothing from Tapas themselves.

Hii! 🥲🥲

I just returned to Tapas with a new comic last year after a many years gap. Sad to see it go.

Thank you so much for making this list! Tapas is where I got my start back in 2017. Since then I’ve created 4 webcomics! It’s sad to see Tapas go. Western Regions 🚀 Detective Reyes 🔎 STARLIGHT 🎸 Shackleton Moonbase 🌘 More info in the post below! ⤵️ bsky.app/profile/ramo...

I just deleted my comic off Tapas. I really liked it there in the beginning but after a while, it felt pretty dead 🥲 Still awful to see so many being stranded now because of it. Thank you for making this starter pack.

They’re are to shut down?! I didn’t even know that! Honestly I was considering leaving Tapas because it’s difficult to gain subs over there. Can you add me too? My webcomic is also self hosted.

Really sad news but I'm glad to see we're all trying to stick together ♥️

I have webcomic "Book of Change" on Tapas. Would like to be added, if there's any space left on the list! Have been procrastinating making my own site for the webcomic for a WHILE. Now it seems that wasn't the smartest decision. :"D

Posting my two comics on Tapas since 2020 and it's sad to see it's most likely getting shut down.

My comic's main site is offline, so I mirrored it on Tapas, so if Tapas goes offline there isn't a new site to read it on atm 🥲

Ive been posting on Tapas since 2017 and will have to move everything over somewhere somehow

👋 I've been posting my comics on tapas for the last 8 years (and have been trying to gently nudge my readers to check out other sites for a while now...)

Here my Bluesky and Comicfury Bluesky: bsky.app/profile/cook... Comicfury: oceanimitycomics.thecomicseries.com

I will also be shutting down my comic on Tapas. It was where we first hosted our comic, and I'm a little sad to see it go. Thanks for making this starter pack!

🥲 I posted my comic on tapas, liked it way better than webtoon

My comic is there, but I will be moving it somewhere else soon. It was completed several years ago, but the next storyline is being made, and will eventually be posting.

My comic's been on hiatus so I could focus on my book but I was intending to get back to it after it launches next month 😭 not sure what my plan is now! tapas.io/series/Its-a...

Tapas is the first place I started hosting my webcomic over ten years ago. This is quite a gut punch.
