Then visit the domains tab on @vercel.com to find your domain (or buy one if you don't already own it) 6/8

Then add the TXT record that you copied earlier and click "Add" You'll probably want a TTL of 300 or more 7/8

Finally, switch back to @bsky.app and click "Verify DNS Record". You should see "Domain verified!" confirmation and now you can click "Update to <handle>" to officially change your handle! 8/8

Its a form of verification. It makes a little more sense if the domain represents an organization such as @vercel.com or @washingtonpost.com, however the same principle applies for individuals. Its basically an end of the era when you need to link to all your social networks in your website footer.
