This will soon no longer be an issue. This evening, I wrote an atproto handle service from scratch to be deployed on Cloudflare with Cloudflare Pages and D1 SQL Storage. This implementation is free, and I will opensource the project when I tidy things up a bit so anyone can deploy their own <3

fursona.club usernames are displaying as "Invalid Handle" at the moment. This is because the 60-hour compute time on Vercel's hobby plan has been used up. I am actively looking to see how I can migrate to Cloudflare, as their D1 database limits are a lot more budget-friendly. Working on a fix
