I’m running because I love this district and I want to make it work for everyone. From defending and expanding protections for marginalized communities, to fully funding public services, we need to bring progressive change to Springfield. Full platform at sunjayforillinois.com/platform !

Fully funding public services and defending marginalized communities in the same platform recognizes that the two are connected. Defunding services is how marginalization is enforced. Funding them is how it is reversed. The budget is the mechanism.
