Ok, so, I have integrated Google Calendar, Contacts, Tasks, Drive, & I'm gonna throw Gmail in there as well. Google is pretty much done. Next up is Microsoft, because they also expose all the APIs to make this easy & actually work well.

Then after that I'll do Nextcloud, per @nso.ovh's request, which is a little more troublesome & won't be as clean, but I can make it happen. Last I'll do Apple, because it is going to be stupid, & have missing features, & require users to generate an App Password, because Apple is fucking awful.

Nah, it isn't particularly hard, it just isn't as clean as the purpose-built API endpoints for Google & Microsoft. For Nextcloud it is a little bit more like the data is exposed there but you gotta lay your own groundwork? idk if that makes sense. lol

Then with Apple, it's similar to Nextcloud, but the annoyance is that I have to walk the user through getting an app password instead of clicking an OAuth button.

The other provider on my list was Proton, & after some investigating, it is pretty severely unfeasible to implement anything at all, due to the E2EE architecture. So Proton is scrapped. Any other providers I should add? Do people use Dropbox enough to warrant it in the Files app?

(btw, i'm gonna offer all my work up to @comail.at to implement in Inbox, but if they aren't interested, I'm just making a fork of it somehow, it looks like. We will see what becomes of this...)
