Worst way your own logging pipeline has failed you? Mine: the OpenTelemetry collector discovered itself, read its own output, and printed 1.8M lines of debug logs in about seventy seconds. Every config version passed validation. Including that one.

Oh dear. But at least you can now vouch for the scalability and resilience of the Collector itself. My worst logging pipeline snafu while I was at SAP: look into days of logs to figure out a security bug that did not exist, and realize that there was literally zero useful information in there.
