It is surprising how different Roland's vintage synthesizer models are. The filter key-follow on the JX-8P does not follow MIDI notes below 24. In addition, the frequency scaling is slightly off, and the filter key-follow is inaccurate. At least on my model. Can anyone confirm this?

The Key Follow value 83 should follow the pitch 100%. It works. I found that my filter cutoff is probably slightly detuned between voices. Could not find any service instructions for the cutoff calibration process so far.

I'm a JX-8P owner. Not sure if mine does this, or how to test if it does. I'm more than happy to help you develop the JX-8P VST by offering up my JX-8P as a guinea pig. If you like, send me some sound data/midi files and I'll record the results and send it to you. Very excited about this plugin!
