finally got a decent view of the swinford townhomes in loring park, some of the most unique and pretty multi family housing in minneapolis. it was barely spared when 394 came in and they don’t even have vehicle traffic in front, just a sidewalk and the highway (which used to be hawthorne park)

the swinford townhouses and apartments in loring park are such nice historic buildings but they now have 94 directly across the street, so unfortunate... thanks to @maxhailperin.bsky.social's blog i just learned of wilson park which used to be located there before the freeway came in

Fun fact: there was a small tree growing out of the bricks near the top floor of windows the last few years. My husband and I always loved checking on the ‘tree house’ when we passed by. Probably good they got rid of it this year but we do miss it lol
