Also i said on threads that were going to be watching all of our physical media! Like over a thousand titles 😆 and I said I would log every one in a thread as we watched but I feel like I'm gonna do that here. Bluesky cares more and is cooler anyway

ok so the way this thread is gonna work is that im gonna let yall know what we're watching and how we're watching it. so starting with our blurays with SLIPCOVERS specifically and starting reverse alphabetical order okay?

so the first one is ZOLA! this is a fun one but kinda dark subject matter. taylour paige is an absolute smoke show and maybe they should have casted someone other than riley keough lol but it worked! cousin greg from succession is in this and hes insufferable but it works!

there's no edit button but i wanted to give this a 4/5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

next up! the original when a stranger calls!!! this one was good and intense! carol kane is a gem but i will say this one upon revisiting today is very differet than i remember. turns into a cop thriller like a quarter way in 🤣🙈 but id say 4/5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

No picture but we then watched Warm Bodies! Ehhhhh never really vibed with that one. Its okay though. I'm sure we have worse movies lol but it's gonna be a 2/5 from me dog

last night we ended the night with a rewatch of US! such a good fucking movie man. jordan peele really understands filmmaking. and it's nice to see him prop black actors up so much they really deserve to shine. lupita is an angel and we need more of her in these intense dramatic roles. 4/5 stars! ⭐️

btw idk if this will work but if u want to try and redeem the digital code here ya go we never used it but it might be expired lol

going forward i will share more digital codes with you but only if i know it wont be expired i think this one is already expired lmao it expired within a year of the movie coming out, but be on the lookout!!! we hae a cool one coming up that has NOT been redeemed yet and is NOT expired 👀

Upgrade was next! I mean I dont think this held up as well on a rewatch but it was fun to see them use newer techniques with the camera movements during the action scenes! logan marshall green is diet tom hardy lol 3/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Unsane! Another rewatch! This one was alright! It's kind of gimmicky due to being entirely shot on an iphone but it's a decent thriller. not soderbergh's best and also we're mad at him for pushing AI so much lately. 3/5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️

UNCUT GEMMMMS! Stressful and high energy. Adam Sandler has never been better. Great rewatch. 4.5/5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tonight we watched The Town That Dreaded Sundown (2014 remake) and well it was really fucking bad ngl. The original seems like a good time but unfortunately we dont own that 😩 but this is getting 1.5/5 stars from me dog. ⭐️

NO PIC but we rewatched Titane last night! It was so good again! The performances all around were stellar and there is something deeper here which is very nice. The car scenes are sexy and weird. And this movie is boundary pushing albeit not for everyone. 4.5/5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

also rewatched Tenet! Meh gonna drop it down to 3/5 stars, lots of technical problems and also was very long and kinda boring upon a rewatch. also we watched a queit place part 2! definitely better than tenet! lmfaooo

WE THEN pivoted and watched RETURN TO NUKE EM HIGH VOLUME 1! AMAZING! ABSOLUTE CINEMA!! 5 STARS!
