@bwieder.bsky.social hey see you’re not posting here recently. Your article today that somehow conflates completely fake polls with the difficulty in creating a solid LV model is journalistic malpractice. The quoting of Pew about nuclear subs just shows how little you actually know here.
Real survey companies intentionally include things like a question on submarine usage as a red herring and attention check. It’s literally a mechanism to clean the data. And online polls can even be representative and probabilistic, apparently something you failed to research or include.
