At the annual Internet Archive event last night, I got to speak to 30 or 40 people, besides MC duties, and have some wonderful wild conversations of dreams, technical debt, excitement, and the role one of the largest archives in the world can play in the future and the past.

Didn't check the phone once all night. Came back to see social media having a real one. I've been at the Internet Archive 15 years. I've seen a lot. I've seen almost every aspect of it. A band played in the streets outside, everyone danced. Tens of thousands of patrons made the drives blink.

After twitter's downfall, I shifted my one-liner social media life a small tad. Hot takes and cold reads are a perfectly fine and fun method of trying to get at the core of what is happening in the world, but they are not the world. Pepple danced, patrons browsed, and the sun is coming up again.

I think today you'll see me avoid moshing in the one liners and in absentia verdicts, and photograph the day. See you all soon.
