We're on a mission to map and catalog every tree in New Zealand, creating a complete digital record of its entire life. ALTO, the Aotearoa Long-term Tree Observatory, is over 6.2 millions trees strong and growing! Check out the Auckland release: alto.tfwelch.com

Hi Tim, nice project and making a difference We're on the southern coast of the Manukau harbour, both planting new trees and mapping those around us. Any way we can get our data / lidar info into it - or timelines for the southern parts of Auckland to be covered, Thanks. CREST predator free.

Absolutely! If you have data to share and want to see it in ALTO, we're more than happy to make that happen (and give full credit). Could you send me an email with details? You can find my email at the bottom of the page here: www.betterplaces.auckland.ac.nz
