Change my mind: there's no better stack than Vite+ (build/test/lint/fmt), pnpm, and @danielroe.dev's uppt (releases + staged trusted publishing) for developing and safely shipping Node/TS libraries.

I’m not sure if you plan on releasing a custom GitHub action, but the other big one for me would be promoting good release practices by default, like disabling cache in release workflows, using staged publishing, and supporting OIDC trusted publishing. The default path should be really secure.

For me, the best uppt feature is automatic release PR creation. If you maintain a lot of libraries, it is just easier to get a PR with a description generated from Conventional Commits, customize it if needed, and merge it to create a release than having to run release scripts manually.
