No. That’s just bull$hit. Dems are rallying for democracy. They are seeing what went wrong with their complacency and trying to fix it. Warren, Buttigieg, Harris, Sanders, Jeffries, Brooke’s. The Dems complacency doesn’t even touch the corruption of the maga republicans.

What a joke. I’ll focus more on my hobbies when I’m confident we’re not falling down a black hole of fascism. Meanwhile, I think we ought to keep paying attention and start taking back state houses and school boards while we slowly and grindingly take back our democracy.

How about: Democrats are finding themselves constantly monitoring the fascist shit show Republicans have devolved into horrified by what might come next. Republicans are in denial looking away or putting their heads into the sand to avoid witnessing the fascist shit show their party has become.

So Mr Litt recommends Dems be less informed voters, perhaps just vote for two or three issues like abortion, lower taxes and white grievance? Gotcha.

Damn straight! We are fighting for our very lives and we will not stop until we are dead. If I live long enough I will crush my political enemies under my proverbial boot. Never surrender, victory or die bitterly fighting unto our last breath!

Maybe, if you f@&$3rs and your ilk actually informed people instead of setting up nonsensical horse races like it’s a GD game just to get clicks and feel superior then things might, just maybe be different and we could actually make progress instead of this embarrassing slow motion apocalypse.

These nutters just assassinated a Democratic lawmaker, her husband, her dog, and left her two children as orphans, and still others wounded. The Atlantic: “Democrats should talk about soup more than the rightwing politics that is LITERALLY killing them.” David Litt? Have a seat. FOREVER.

"talk about unidentified masked men jumping out of vans and tearing parents away from their children, deporting them to concentration camps... It's all so gross.. can we please talk about something else?" 😑 Irresponsible article pretending we are living in a world with normal American politics.

(btw articles like this are exactly why I did not renew my subscription to the Atlantic after one year of being a subscriber... Some good writing... Put some unforgivably awful takes outweigh the good writing)
