A primate ethologist is a primatologist, also a zoologist. She also delved a little into my discipline, anthropology. We were both members of the same college, I met her several times and she really was an incredibly nice person.

So grateful that my daughter and I were able to hear her speak this past spring. She was so inspiring and gave us hope during these dark times. RIP 💔

The Earth and its creatures lost one of its most amazing environmental champions. May her dedication and legacy inspire others to continue her research and become trailblazers themselves in animal sciences and conservation.

Posthumous Nobel Peace Prize should be awarded to Jane Goodall ❤️ and all the bluster surrounding the award by the buffon-in-chief should just come to an end .

She was a fellow and I am a member of Darwin College, Cambridge. I met her a few times when she was in for lunch and people could just listen to her tell us about Gombe. She was a nice, incredibly interesting person. I feel privileged to have met her.

I never had the good fortune of meeting Dr Jane Goodall but I feel like I've lost someone dear to me, she inspired me over the years. What an amazing woman, rest in peace Jane.
