Struggling to see the point of an article that calls for a negotiated peace that says nothing (bar Ukraine giving up the Donbas) about the terms that would arrive at such a peace, and the implications of that on future Ukraine and Western security. Sanctions and weapons are definitely stopping russia right now :) The real problem is russian air terror - and frankly it is in Europe interest to find a ways to solve it with Ukraine... because next occasion will be with russian missiles over EU cities, that's how unstopped expansionism works 🤷‍♂️

No mention in this article of the 20/25% reduction (and falling)in Russias refining capacity, not the further impact of continued, and more long range destruction on Russias economy. These are effective sanctions that the author simply ignores to make his piece reflect his position.
