Is it just me? I’m infuriated every time by the sheer idiocy of the numbers claims. How can there be such a big difference-a factor of 10, between 50,000 and 500,000? We could do the calculation if they were wildebeest or starlings or ants. I assume the police are deliberately underestimating. Why?
