One thing I’ll remember most about this time in history is that it was all preventable, but members of Congress were too fucking spineless to actually do their jobs

Hopefully, what we remember the most hasn’t happened yet If we can’t find the right moment, then perhaps the moment will find us where we can unite to end this nightmare

🇨🇦 when this is over, the Rep Party should banned and burned to the ground (it happened in Canada) Also US needs 3 political parties to stop the constant tit for tat between the 2 parties

January 6th revealed to many that the mechanisms of legislature were alarmingly vulnerable. Congress is trying to avoid that moment when it makes a key decision and orders it to be implemented but nothing happens : the Dumafication of US democracy

The only thing Congress is interested in is doing,is what the folks giving them huge sums of money, want them to do. Biggest mistake that the US ever made, was allowing lawmakers to be purchased.

Not just them. Once you understand how much more we could have done to fight COVID, you realize how badly we've all been stabbed in the back, and that behind the spinelessness and the sociopathy is a system where human life is treated as fuel for the engines of power. That's what we have to fix.

I’m astounded by what cowards they are. What gets me is that if enough of them got together, walked into the Oval Office and stuck their collective finger in Trump’s face and said ENOUGH or we’ll impeach and convict your sorry ass, the bullshit would stop.

They make a lot of $ from private prison companies, AIPAC, weapons manufacturers, health insurance companies, billionaire PACs, etc. It's better for their finances to keep us unhealthy, unsafe, and uneducated.

Corrupt is what I think you mean. Big $ in politics between the insider trading, Citizens United and out right pay to plays rules almost all are on the take and have forgotten they serve and rep all ppl.

I get why you feel that way… but honestly, everyone who voted for him in this recent election allowed this to happen. His failures in politics & public safety were obvious to all from his first term. He led a cue & had no punishment. Congress aren’t the only ones who could have stopped him.

I don't know if it's spineless I believe it's wilfull and intentional..look at Lindsey Graham as vile as Trump..look at Johnson as vike as Trump..look at Comer as vile as Trump..it's not being Spineless it's all in happily for these Guys
