Sorry for the lack of art and comms! I've been dealing with clonazepam withdrawal after taking 4 for years, i'm finally free of it but my body obvs needs to get over it, and i may have some pre-diabetic or more stuff goin on too, so at the moment my body just lacks the energy to get out of bed 😔

I'm getting bloodwork done and getting as much rest as i can, and trying to work when i can, but this exhaustion is genuinely so bad that i can't even bring myself to do more than watch a video let alone draw, it's shitty esp after all the eye stuff, but hopefully i'll stabilize soon!

Ooooooof yeah you gotta be careful with benzos, they're amazing but you really can't take them too often. I take clonazepam too but only for really bad days/impending panic attacks. Glad you're getting control over it again!

Yeah they suck! My old doc never told me anythin about them, and let me take 4 a day for years, before i was ever told how bad they'd be for me long term! So after i moved, i found a new doc and i've been weening off of them for months, finally off of em, but yeah, my body doesn't like it atm haha

Yeah the way we use them has changed a lot in the past 30 years, when they first were invented they were so much safer than barbituates that doctors handed them out like candy. So nowadays there are some doctors who still prescribe that way, especially for people already taking them regularly, and

some who follow the more modern guidance of "you should only take them daily for a few weeks at most, or take them rarely as needed". Really frustrating when you can't rely on doctors to know or explain that kind of stuff.
