Knowing nothing of what goes into manufacturing, not interested in learning or turning it over to experts, he just slaps tariffs on countries rather than specific goods that compete with what we make. That's simple! It's also deadly to our manufacturing.

Precisely. Surrounding himself with yes-men leads to lazy economic gimmicks like blanket tariffs. Taxing whole countries instead of protecting specific domestic industries just inflates manufacturing costs and forces working families to pay the price.
