When an Ebola outbreak hit Uganda, Musk's people refused to fund airport screenings to stop infected passengers from boarding flights to the US. They cut off clinical trials for drug resistant tuberculosis. They terminated HIV treatment contracts.

Babies are now being born with HIV at high rates in clinics where those rates were near zero just a year ago. Musk stood in the White House and lied that he restored access to HIV prevention.

On the same day, his team terminated those contracts. He did this to satisfy his ego after believing conspiracy theories. He was told exactly what the death toll would be. He did it anyway.
