[Thread] Ok so I had made a thread in May, on Twitter, about my visit to La Cinémathèque, in Paris, where I saw the excellent exhibitions devoted to James Cameron and Georges Méliès. I'm reproducing here the part about this French filmmaker who was so imaginative that Scorsese made a film about him.
Georges Méliès' A Trip to the Moon (Le voyage dans la lune) was released 122 years ago today. This silent, black-and-white film is the forebear of everything this account is about.🙏
