Alien Earth (August 13) Showrunner Noah Hawley: "We built the Maginot [ship] basically to the specs of the Nostromo. Our cryo chamber is bigger, but the bridge is the same and the mess hall is the same. When we showed it to Ridley, I don't think he realized how the same it was going to be."

Production designer Andy Nicholson: "The Yutani design motif for the Nostromo was so strong that any other ship of that period in the Yutani fleet would just take design elements from it. I’ve been on both an aircraft carrier and a cruiser in the Royal Navy as part of research on previous shows."
