You know, the 2027 presidential campaign has kicked off, and despite a summer marked by the kind of extreme weather events in France that have been predicted for 25 years, it remains highly likely that the question of whether Muslims are citizens just like everyone else will...

...once again overshadow the issue of our children's survival. It might sound incredibly stupid, but it is entirely possible. Hundreds of thousands of displaced people and and 6,000 excess deaths in a single heat wave week will likely change nothing.

At the height of the June heat wave, there were more deaths than on the worst day of the COVID-19 pandemic. June 26 was the deadliest day since the 2003 heat wave. So if the elections turn into another round of xenophobia, I'm going to quit. 😅

This clown thought what, that Bordeaux wouldn’t have the need for fire protection? Are grape vines now immune to fire and smoke? Incrediblely myopic, and that’s being generous.

No, He was just an MP at the time; he has only been the mayor of Bordeaux since March. The thing is, centrists generally don't vote in the interests of public services, and we find ourselves in a situation where Bordeaux voters have elected someone who voted against their interests.
