I loved playing The DIG

It has such a memorable atmosphere. The intro feels like it’s straight out of a mid 90s sci-fi summer blockbuster, the music and voice acting all adding to the effect. Couple of dud puzzles in there but the beautiful hi-res pixel art (for the time at least!) carries you through.

I love the storm sound effects in this one so much I would leave it running in my living room (where the PC was in the 90s) just for the white noise!

So glad ScummVM has Android support, installed this and Blade Runner from Westwood, two childhood games that are better on a tablet then on a huge screen now. It's also fun to tap these with a stylus, has a new feel to it, strangely fitting + And just also found out HoMM3 has an Android port too!

"These two things won't work together" and "Get out of my way" ingrained forever.

My biggest mistake was finishing the Alan Dean Foster novel before I finished the game, but it was fantastic nonetheless.

Wonderful game! I liked the novel by Alan Dean Foster as well.
