Many people seem to underestimate the capabilities of AI in terms of programming, it has become a significant help and with the right structure around it (which we're still building as well) the output empowers our software engineers. I get the hate but there are also many ill-informed opinions.

I can see it being a flop in terms of sales, being a buggy mess due to AI and bland direction due to AI art. I have yet to see any AI art that has inspired me.

So Galactic Racer is going to be the last good star wars game, then. also, nice of them to put star wars and marvel into the public domain, since genAi can't be copyrighted.

I could see this getting the project cancelled entirely, considering how quickly Disney reversed their course on their AI video partnership, whatever that was supposed to be. I remember hearing theories that they realized that would be tantamount to forfeiting the copyright on everything in it.

Of course, OpenAI pulled the plug on Sora around the same time, but who knows which one came first? Did Disney cancel the deal because the platform it was going to use was ending, or did OpenAI kill the platform because their biggest customer pulled out and they can't afford to run all this shit
