Also a story on BC News of a UK midwife in Victoria facing deportation for not filing an English proficiency certificate (English is her 1st language). The system didn’t request this info & now she’s getting tossed. Victoria has a big problem getting maternity care making this extra asinine. #Canada

Back in 95’ my first obstetrician appointment was more than a month after my due date. I can only imagine it has become worse? Personally I would not care if a person qualified to care for me was fluent in English
