Is anyone here an Ireland rail expert?

I'm working on my irish citizenship and would love to do a deep dive on understanding the rail system there. Any resources, books or websites, etc would be immensely helpful. Thank you!

A nice thing to imagine would be an all Ireland train that had service from Sligo, up through Eniskillen and Donegal and linking up in Derry. Could transform the northwest.
