Two Washington bound Amtrak trains are sitting at Kingston and passengers are walking up and down the platform as we wait for overhead wires to be fixed in New Haven. Current estimate is 90 minutes until the catenaries are fixed.

A friend coming to see me is one of the Acelas outside New Haven, he's already been stuck for two hours. 😵‍💫 Took them two hours just to get the disabled train off the tracks so they can work on the overhead wires.

If I remember correctly there is a nice little cafe across the st from Kingston station to get a sandwich coffee etc...
