Canadian conservatives on average are not as far gone as American 'conservatives', but they are being put on a fast track to a form of ideological hyper-partisanship that obliterates any concern for integrity or ethics. In the far right version of 'conservatism', the end always justifies the means.

I'm still waiting for all _ all _ of the media to have a daily section in their newspapers and broadcasts devoted to the most recent lies, omissions of relevant facts, etc. They could label such bits "Today's Whopper(s)".
