im so curious what suggestions of ryans yoshida shut down. especially with them shuttering so much of the first party studios right now... I WANT GRAVITY RUSH 3 DAMMIT I WANT BLOODBORNE ON PC

Jim Ryan is the main reason why PlayStation is in the horrible state it’s in now, with hardy any 1st Party titles in its lineup this console generation. Then he just fucked off and left the mess to his successor.

I wanna say I feel bad for the current CEO but PS announced they STILL wanted to do live service after like 11 disasters, they seem about as bad.

Yeah I feel like Hermen Hulst dodges a lot of the flak thrown at Jim Ryan, despite Hulst being in charge of the game studios at the time, meanwhile Yoshida gets a lot of credit for the previous generation (rather than Andrew House, who Ryan replaced).
