Here is how stupid this entire thing is: Australians cannot view or purchase Dead Island 2 on Steam without a credit card. What you can do is go to a third party key seller, buy it there and add it to your account. I know this because I literally just did it. It literally blocks nothing!

Here is another stupid thing: You cannot buy the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Volume 2 on Steam without a credit card. You can however buy MGS4 and Peace Walker individually. Ghost Babel, a game released for the *fucking Gameboy Color*, is too hardcore for a 17 year old. I hate this country.

No they're weird GTA V's AU age rating just says "drug use" on the game cover, no mention of any sexual or violent content, apparently pulling out someone's tooth isn't as bad as the devil's lettuce and some drug trips

No, you’re right. While us aussies are typically quite laid back and chill, our government has this weird puritanical streak when it comes to anything adult in media, especially modern forms like video games. It’s getting a little better now, but progress is glacial with many steps backward.

Prison colony for the BRITISH. They have our problem of an over-active nanny state inherited from us. We banned the word 'Ninja' for like 20 years. Teenage mutant HERO turtles?
