Xbox has made 268 layoffs across Halo Studios and other first-party developers as it consolidates its studios. Activision will develop Halo and look after Rare, among several other shifts. Ninja Theory is facing a "proposed closure" after two potential deals fell through.

If there are no changes at Activision leadership and the culture at Activision, then expect Halo to be filled to the brim with online crap and micro transactions.

Still have apparently over 1000 more layoffs leading 2 the end of the year. It's a pivot n a more focused direction but man, it sucks about people being let go.
