Very lovely

The mood is intimate and serene 🕊️

It was very much both of those. Not sure if it’s a hidden gem or if we were just lucky, but the park was almost totally empty. Curiously enough, the only other person we saw on the entire trail, all day, passed us during the hailstorm… which lasted all of 15 mins

in my experience, most people don't do trails -- when i lived on the edge of Acadia National Park, I would spend hours hiking and walking and in my almost 6 hour jaunts, I rarely saw anyone... 🥰
