Would it make sense to use @graalvm.org native image PGO "incrementally"? (Aka, combine the previous profile with --pgo AND --pgo-instrument to build a mew .prof file?) Or is it a lot better to use the "merge multiple profiles" capability? 🤔 #graal #nativeimage

One feature we are working on is the ability to feed Linux perf profiling data to the native image generation process. This will allow collecting profiling data on optimized images that run in production with relatively low overhead. Would this help your use case or do you want to achieve sthg else?

That could work pretty well. 😊 We got a lot of quality data to reproduce a basic profile locally, but being able to run it in production and getting the real profile might be better. Combined with a daily/weekly rebuild cycle. Looking forward to your feature 😉
