Hi bluesky! We have some qs: What’s the best thing a nonprofit has done to thank you, partner with you on events, or form a relationship with you? What’s the worst thing a nonprofit has done? Have you ever had a nonprofit never reach out to you at all when you’ve fundraiser for them?

👍: received a really nice thank you gift at their live event after raising money online in a mini ceremony for contributors. 👎: a box of random streaming gimmicks that was pretty much all cheaply made bulk stuff off Amazon. But no, I've never had a nonprofit not reach out.

the thank you gift was a mug that related to the content of the charity stream I hosted and a really nice certificate thanking me for helping raise money for their cause.

Being invited to the St Jude Play Live Summit and getting a tour of the hospital! Second best was a personal phone call from the non profit thanking me for fundraising for them 💜 There are some that never contacted me outside of their regular newsletter, but that's fine, it's not why I fundraise 🎗

I love it when charities send a little thank you card (digital is fine too)! It's also been awesome when charities have sent a rep to stop by stream. The worst is maybe not being reached out to at all, but even then I get folks in nonprofits can be really busy! 💙
