This is a little abstract and I don't have time to list ALL of my specific answers anyway, so I will go with this: Nothing has ever made me doubt my own ability more than trying to get my kids to do stuff they just didn't want to do.

Sure, behavior modification is like psych (and parenting) 101, but once my kids figured out they actually had some agency, it went from psych 101 to something akin to a post-doc, real quick.
