from the tweet it sounds like it’s just a consistent policy of not allowing competitors use their product. which again, that’s hilarious that it’s even an issue

They did it for OpenAI last year. It’s kinda hilarious that they even have to.

This is maybe a silly question, but how do you even convince Cursor to use non-Cursor provided models? I couldn’t find a setting for that.

Thanks. Does this really override *all* the model stuff Cursor does, or just some of the chat windows or something? I'm a little unclear if it's still using some fine-tuned Cursor models for certain activities behind the scenes (and therefore uploading your source code to Cursor Inc).

are you using the free version? bc it's always been pretty obvious to me, although i've never used a free version of Cursor
