But hey, those sucked up all the attention and investment money for their time so those technologies did their job, making Elon a lot of money. I'm just hoping basic pattern recognition helps people look away from the jingling keys for a moment.

Yeah. He is the "inventor" equivalent of the most annoying kid on the playground saying they could beat you up then they get slapped once and cry and run away. Just so happens that tactic as an adult can net you a shitton of money

Sad part is most people aren't smart enough to see that. Hell, most people will argue that cutting work weeks to 32 hours is a bad thing. Even if they don't lose anything in the process.
