There is NO reason that my Drivers License that I just got, about a year and a half ago, after standing in line at the DMV and having them retake my photo, to give me a new ID because the one before that expired. I will get a new ID in 5 years when this license expires. Otherwise, kiss my ass.

They didn't have any sort of thing. I got a "new" license with the ID strip so they can swipe my ID, just like everyone else. It's their administrative issue, if the ID I just got, is not good enough for them. And no, hell no.. I am not flying anywhere anymore. Soon, nobody else will either. 🤷

I guess 🤷 I figure the next time I leave the country, I will be running, at night, with a backpack of water, and probably not very concerned about having an ID. 😀

I have nowhere that I would be willing to subject myself to the ordeal that flying nowadays. The last time I flew was 10 years ago, and that was awful then. I will gladly take my chances driving, where I am in control of my own fate, much more than being strapped in an aging tube of death. lol

Well, in the U.S. most travel to airports requires getting in a vehicle first to get there……and most accidents in the U.S. occur just miles from a person’s home so doesn’t really matter that much either way.
