Just got billed $400 for going to a general check up at a new doc I didn’t realize was out of network. Hand up, that’s on me. Wish we had a simpler system, though.

liked this doc, too. We had a lot in common and I don’t think I’ve ever had that genuine relationship component with a primary care doc before. But I’m not paying another $400 tab to get my vitals checked. C’est la American healthcare system.
