AWS rebuilt the front end of CloudWatch. The new one is called Omni, and it's GA now. The idea is simple. Your logs and metrics are already in CloudWatch. They're just spread over accounts, regions and sometimes other clouds. Omni is one place to look at all of it.

Create a space and point it at your accounts. It pulls the telemetry in. Then it finds your services, draws how they depend on each other, and surfaces the few metrics that usually explain what's wrong 👀

You can also ask a plain-language question instead of clicking through dashboards. It pulls the relevant telemetry, builds a view around it, and works toward root cause with the DevOps Agent.

The other half is for agent builders. Omni can watch every prompt, model call and tool invocation, score how good the answers were, and run experiments on a fix before it ships. Free VS Code, Cursor and Kiro extension too. That one runs locally. No AWS account needed.
