👋 Captain Sisko Returned to Starfleet in #StarTrek Captain Sisko didn't just return from the Prophets. He eventually returned to Starfleet! In the Star Trek novel continuity, Benjamin Sisko's life continued long after the Deep Space Nine finale.

My preference is that he never did. The finale was called "What you leave Behind" not "What you come back to later."

It's not that he never wanted to, but the prophets wouldn't let him. I think we got a glimpse of that Sisko in "Rapture". Once he was there, and was essentially in that frame, there was no way for him to go back. That's my take.
